Houston Livestock Show

We took the girls to The Houston Livestock Show on Sunday. We had SUCH a great time. We got there in the morning and started off looking at all of the animals inside. The girls each rode a Pony. We rode rides and played games at the carnival. We were there for almost 5 hours! Here are some highlights from the day:

The Clown Barrel

Obstacle Course

The "Mega Slide"
*Notice the difference in the facial expressions of Reagan & MacKenzie while sliding!

Reagan's Facial Expression

MacKenzie's Facial Expression...too funny!

Carnival Games

Cotton Candy...YUM!

Pony Rides

John Deere

Baby Pigs born the day before we were there!

Petting the Goats

We go to the Rodeo every year and it is so much fun. Looks like the grils had a blast. Your girls are so beautiful! This year instead of going to the Rodeo we decided to go on a camping trip since thats what Taylor wants to do for her birthday. We will for sure miss the Rodeo though.

We know who the dare devil of the family is, don't we?? LOL.

Yeah...pretty funny! Reagan is definitely the dare devil, and the two of them have night & day opposite personalities.

Hi Kathryn,

That's so funny because I found your blog through Lacey's too! It's so fun to be able to check in with all of the different families that we don't get to see very often. Hope everything is well for you guys.

You are so funny! Please...I beg for comments! :) I look at some other peoples blogs and they have like 15-16 comments. Clearly, I am just not that interesting! I welcome your comments. Actually, I am blown away at your first one. Thank you so much. You have no idea what that means. I need to go back and read it myself again everyday. You can so quickly get sucked back in. Bran was without work for such a long time, and through that we grew closer as a family and as a couple than ever before in our marriage. God provided and it was amazing to literally watch it unfold. We never even talked about it, it was just the way it was for a while and in some ways I miss it. I find us worrying about money issues now that he has an income, and when he didn't we barely mentioned it. It was a great time to rid all the 'stuff' that we had acquired and do some serious shedding. We even knocked TV off our list... friends think we have lost it I am sure but it was one of the best things we have ever done. That reminds me...I need to do a no TV update! :))

We can't even express how eager we are to go overseas to see this devastation and get on our hands and knees and pray for right in the midst of it all. Maybe we could all go together sometime?! Bran would love that!

I have clearly over-stalked you by the length of my comment. You have nothing to worry about!

Love the pics of the rodeo and lemonade stand! Too cute! I LOVE spring and summer! And by the way, something that I literally think about every time I see you...we do plan to order our pregnancy pics. I am thinking now that $ is somewhat within our reach that we can. Hopefully, you haven't given up on us...I mean Cam is almost one! So very sorry!!!!!!!!!
