I know I'm a little behind on posting this, but needless to say, I've been a little busy these past 4 days. I was able to get into the hospital on Tuesday, the 23rd to be induced. We got to the hospital right at 7am and were immediately checked in and started getting settled into our room. Like I said in my last post, I was hesitant to be put on pitocin, so my doctor came to the hospital and broke my water around 8:30 to see if that would get my labor started. It did! I progressed all day on my own without having to have the drug. What a relief it was for me. My labor went on through the day and into the evening. He was finally born just before 7pm and he was perfect! My doctor and my nurses all made the experience so wonderful. So now we are home and getting settled into what is our "new normal." The girls love having him home and want to hold & kiss him all the time. I have lots of pictures of the big day, but I am working on a slideshow, so those will be up sometime in the near future. Until then, you can "meet" him through these amazing pictures taken by my friend and photographer, Misty Green. Thank you Misty for capturing these precious, brand new moments!

Congrats. I am so happy that get to experience having a boy. I'm not saying boys are better by any means, but they are amazing in a totally different way. We miss you guys. Hopefully we'll get to see you before our kids graduate from college.
