Ty is 9 months old today. And he's had a few "Firsts" on his 9 month birthday. He went for his first official swim in J-Pop & Cici's pool and loved every second of it. He also had his very first popsicle. I know when my sister reads this she is going to have a fit because she gave me such a hard time that my oldest didn't get her first popsicle until she was almost 2! So yes, Amanda, he is the third child and he is my baby boy and I do give him privileges that his older sisters did not get. There, I said it. Another "First" that I'm not so happy about is that he got his first boo boo. He fell outside and hit right above his eye on the corner of a lawn chair. He cried for 20 seconds and was over it. His eye did start to swell and he got a little scrape too. And one final "First" that I am exceptionally unhappy about: He will not have his picture taken in the white chair on his exact 9 month birthday. For the first time since he was born, we will miss taking his picture on the 23rd of the month. You see, I learned the hard way last time that I am unable to take his white chair pictures without another adult present. I can't put him on the white chair and back up to take the pictures without him trying to jump, climb or scoot off the chair. Right after I did his 8 month picture, he did a face plant onto the carpet and had a rug burn all over his nose. So, because of logistical details which would bore you to tears if I shared, so I won't I am unable to have someone else here while it's still daylight. Therefore his 9 month white chair picture will have to wait until tomorrow. As much as it pains me to break our perfect record, I feel quite certain that he won't look too much bigger tomorrow than he does today. Stay tuned...
