Yesterday I was sitting at my kitchen table with tears in my eyes writing this post. I swear it was yesterday. Truly. And today my "baby" graduated from Kindergarten. When I dropped her off for her first day, just yesterday, she was an apprehensive, timid little girl. Today she is an independent, determined, creative, bigger girl who could literally take on the world. Marty & I look at each other in amazement sometimes at the things that she thinks of and the things she says. She is wise beyond her years and is truly one of the most compassionate people I know. She is always thinking of others and what their situation might be like. I cannot think of a better quality to have. MacKenzie, we love you so much and are so proud of the "bigger girl" you are becoming. For those of you who have children in school you already know this, but for those of you who do not, I will say this: Hold on to your hats, because time is about to reach warp speed. I just. dropped her off. for her first day of Kindergarten. yesterday. Yesterday.
Here are some pictures from her day:

Does she go to C.T? That first picture looks like Julie English...I use to teach there when Julie was a teacher. We carpooled, she lives in Carriage Hills.
I cant believe she is already done with Kindergarten and I cant believe Madilyn is going in. How time flies!
Amy,
Yes she does go to C.T. and that's Julie English. She is the principal there.
It's so hard to believe that all of our little ones are getting as big as they are. I wish I could slow time down.
Oh Mackenzie we are SOOOO proud of you! Way to go! You are such a wonderful person and have always has such a kind heart. I will NEVER forget the days I coached you before you even ventured off to Kindergarten.
Taylor graduates tomorrow (well today now that it is already thursday) so we will be going thru much of the same emotions.
Your so right Linds, it was JUST yesterday that we were sending them off. I remember the letter you wrote her on that very day like I just read it. I loved it soo much that I had to post it to Taylors blog.
Love and Prayers,
Tim
I miss you guys. Give Kinzie a hug from me and tell her congrats.
Both of your daughters are so beautiful...I wish we were still just around the corner and able to watch them grow up together with our "tribe."
Take care.
Glenn
